Delicious home-style food, fair prices! We had rump steak, schnitzel, sirloin and dessert (the Cup Denmark is a hit)! Highly recommended! Very nice atmosphere in the old vaulted cellar and great beer garden in summer!

Very nice beer garden, great ambience in beautiful surroundings. Perfect as a destination in the middle of the Rhön. There is ample parking space for those who are traveling by car. The food is home-style and perfectly priced. The service is attentive and friendly. We would love to come back.

Because of the ambience, we expected more. Everything is not bad, the food is traditional and ok .. But unfortunately nothing special, which is why you definitely want to come back. You should use the beautiful location with the great outdoor area with culinary specialties. The service friendly and attentive.

We were here after a walking weekend and booked spontaniously on a busy Sunday but they had no issues making space and time for us. The service was excellent, fast, polite and efficient and when the food came within 20min of ordering, we were all very happy indeed. Such service and delicious food is not always found but here you will be happy so we will return for sure and such service well deserved a Tipp. Gut gemacht zu allem und sehr vielen dank, besser gehts nicht !

The food is delicious, totally aromatic and great quality, really upscale. The price-performance ratio is accordingly very good. The beer tastes really good and the terrace is cozy. Everything was very well maintained and the waitresses are really competent and friendly!

We were there twice. The food was delicious. Very nice location. The service always made us wait a long time. In the old walls you need a cardigan in summer.

Have eaten the boiled fillet here was very good only the beetroot does not quite match it but it is a matter of taste. The homemade Klops with onion fries and sause was very good! Prices are reasonable, what is particularly nice is the cozy rustic atmosphere in the old walls and the outside view in the middle of nature

U can hike to that place or drive by car. Parking lots are free of charge. It's a very nice location and atmosphere. U can sit outside or inside. The menu is small but great dishes on it. I like that kind of restaurants more then to have to much to choose and the taste is bad. Here it is delicious. Enough in the plates the prices are very good for the quality u get. The staff is very friendly. Also the cook came outside and we could tell him how delicious the dinner was. Thank u very much.

The ambience is very nice. Old brickwork and dark wooden beams. Very nicely set tables. Large paintings adorn the walls. The food was very tasty. The pork loin in pepper cream sauce is highly recommended. The service is very friendly and you will be served quickly. All in all: Top!

An absolutely delicious and authentic German experience. The restaurant is set in a beautiful and authentic country home with an absolutely fascinating history. The building has been majestically transformed with all attention to detail. The cuisine is deliciously prepared by Stephan, who takes true pride in his work. He's committed to preparing food with the best ingredients and the most traditional techniques. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for traditional German cusine.
